Our girls needed a win, and they delivered big time! Nigeria's Flamingos beat defending champions North Korea 3-1 in their final Group B match at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Morocco on Friday, booking their place in the knockout stage. Coach Akeem Busari's side took charge early: Oluwakemi Adegbuyi opened the scoring in the 15th minute, Oluebube Umejiaku doubled the lead in the 38th minute, and Kanyinsola Yusuf made it three in the 56th minute.
