Naija Is Winning!

Flamingos beat Brazil 3-1 to reach their first FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup final! ⚽🇳🇬

History for the Flamingos! Nigeria's U-17 women's team beat Brazil 3-1 in the semi-final of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Rabat, Morocco, to reach their first-ever final at the tournament. After a goalless first half, Queen opened the scoring in the 56th minute, then Awawu struck in the 71st and again in the 80th to put Nigeria 3-0 up before Brazil's late consolation. The win also locks in at least a silver medal, going past Nigeria's previous best of bronze at the 2022 edition. Next up: Japan in Saturday's final. Go Flamingos! 🙌🏾
